We believe that valued fine art and photography adds to the beauty of our homes, belonging on our walls for all to enjoy. The Silber Studio, located in Conover, NC, creates fine art using traditional art forms such as painting, mixed media, digital art, as well as photography. This allows for the creation of unique art pieces, as well as timeless artistic photography.
With exacting standards of high quality, and over 45 years of experience along with proprietary techniques, art work and photography are completed using the finest archival materials. This ensures you will possess artwork that is a beauty to view, and to hand down to future generations.
Bob and Karen have strong backgrounds in photography and art. As a child, Bob’s dad taught him how to develop film and print images in a darkroom. Similarly, Karen learned to develop and print film in photography school, and studied art and design. Today, the old process of ‘wet’ darkrooms have given way to digital photography and the digital darkroom. Together, Bob and Karen have combined their skills to create fine works of art and photography.
The Silber Studio works to achieve the goal of fine art and photographic pieces that owners will be proud to display in their homes — from totally subjective art creations to commissioned photography, commissioned art pieces are one of a kind. Beginning with a personal one-on-one consultation, commissioned art work will gain life through the heart of the artist, designed for a forever place in the home.
Artwork is created one piece at a time — no mass production work here! The Silber Studio does not use AI, or any other automated computer processes, in any of our art. Each art work is crafted by hand, with an artistic eye, along with traditional art and photographic techniques, bringing visualization to fruition through skill and experience. Artwork that is not commissioned is offered for purchase with limited edition runs of the print.
Commissioned work is always presented as a one-time printed image to the one who commissioned the piece — these images are never printed for others. Lean more of commissioning your work here.
